Kathrin Pitterling
„I am interested in what moves people. What is the secret of their strength and creativity? What are the challenges faced by those of us who live our convictions and passions unconditionally? Kathrin Pitterling puts these questions at the centre of her interviews with artists, activists and politicians from Christo, Siri Hustvedt and Maria Schrader to Olaf Scholz.
Born in Saalfeld in 1967, Kathrin Pitterling studied theatre, film and television studies, art history and philosophy at the University of Cologne and has since worked as an author, director and producer and realised art projects. As a mediator, she aims to meet her protagonists at eye level. Kathrin Pitterling lives with her family in Berlin.
