Last year, Jane Campion won the Oscar in the Best Director category for "The Power of the Dog" - but only as the third woman ever! As in many other industries, the film industry still has a long way to go before the gender gap is balanced. W-FILM is committed to promoting films by, with and about women: currently, for example, the gripping war drama "Lost Transport" by Saskia Diesing, the upbeat documentary "Sorry Comrade" by Vera Brückner or the surreal America satire "Land of Dreams" by Shirin Neshat.
