Stick Together: Premiere in Berlin
On September 10, the documentary film “Stick Together” celebrated its German premiere in the sold-out City Kino Wedding and was greeted with great applause.
Following the screening, a film discussion took place, during which the audience was able to get to know the director Felix Maria Bühler as well as the protagonists Lina Eichler, Fuchs, Guerrero, Taura, the editor Lena Köhler and the composer Daria Cheikh-Sarraf in person.
A key question from the audience was why the climate activists do not offer any concrete solutions: "Our actions are the fire alarm that shows that we need fundamental change," explained Lina Eichler.
The film, according to director Bühler, is his "visual diary", the result of a year of intensive listening. The audience reacted emotionally, some reported feeling depressed after the film. When asked about hope, Fuchs answered: "No, the situation is serious". Taura added: "It's no longer about preventing the climate crisis - we have to learn to deal with it."
"Stick Together" opens in German cinemas on September 19th.
