WEATHER MAKERS: Successful premiere in Frankfurt!
»A documentary as frightening as it is impressive!« Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
Rarely has one wished for a making-of as much as of Stanislaw Mucha's film "Wettermacher"! The whimsical documentary about three meteorologists celebrated its German premiere on August 17 at Mal Seh'n Kino in Frankfurt.
On the evening of the premiere, both the film and the entertaining anecdotes about its making, which director Stanislaw Mucha and producer Markus Belde (Zinnober Film) shared in the Q&A, delighted the audience: About crashed airplanes, chainsaws in hand luggage or cameraman Marcus Winterbauer, who was sent into the fog on a dog leash. But in the end it was worth the effort and the "Arctic expedition" - as Markus Belde calls the shoot - was more than successful: the impressive images of the film speak for themselves. "Weather Makers" can be seen in German cinemas from August 18.
»Beneath the daily work routine lies a dark, bloody, psychotic primordial ground that Stanisław Mucha conjures up with the mischievous understatement of a fairy tale uncle.« Süddeutsche Zeitung
